Through original themes and compositions, its ancient lands, peoples, legends, mysteries, darkness, and hope are transformed into melody. Each piece is conceived as part of the mythos—a musical echo of the stories and ages that shape the world of Paladin of God.

The Light of the Trees — Inspiration
The Light of the Trees was born during the winter of 2023, as I witnessed my first snowfall after coming to live in the United States. Watching the snow descend silently upon the trees, fields, roads, and frozen lakes, I found myself humming a melody that would become inseparable from the world of Aërwa.
I wanted the theme to embody the spirit of Paladin of God: A world of mystery and darkness, but also hope, sacrifice, heroism, wonder, and stories that endure across the ages. After more than thirty-five years creating Aërwa through words, The Light of the Trees became another expression of that mythos — this time through music.
I composed the original theme and first gave it form through MIDI. Professional composer Jordan G. (@jgrigg48 via Fiverr) later helped expand the piece with additional musical passages and instrumentation, bringing greater depth to the original composition.
The Light of the Trees was born from a snowfall, but it belongs to Aërwa — a melody I hope will linger in the imagination long after the final page has been turned.
